From the Outer Ward spawn, navigate to both territorial wards. Training Area (west) and Kitchens (northeast). Step inside each glowing containment circle and defend against zombie waves until the capture bar fills.

Converge on Central Courtyard. Hold interact on both twin Oni symbols on the main gate simultaneously to dissolve the barrier and unlock the War Room.

Enter the War Room. An Oni elite spawns from a lightning shard — defeat it to earn the Shogun Hango golden sigil key. Insert the key into the golden dragon door at the War Room exit to reach the upper floor.

Inside Shogun's Sanctum, the World Seed hangs in the center. Kill the purple-glowing marked zombies near it to charge its soul reservoir. Throw a Decoy Grenade to cluster targets directly beneath the seed for fastest charging.

Once charged, the seed fires a vertical energy beam and opens — Pack-a-Punch appears. Upgrade your primary to PAP II minimum before advancing.

With all three parts in hand, go to the Workshop crafting table near Vulture Aid. Interact to assemble the Maniki Neco — a specialized monkey bomb required for multiple later steps.
★ Do not start Phase 03 without the Maniki Neco assembled. You need it immediately to summon the Abomination.
Buy PhD Flopper first — required for this step. Head to Tenshu Entrance and find the suspended metal cage with a cat on the southwest wall. Dolphin-dive or wall-jump from the adjacent high ledge — the PhD Flopper explosion detaches the cage. Collect the cat.

Carry the cage to an active lava pool and throw it in. The lava melts the metal, releasing the feline spirit.

Generate a spiritual portal via glowing orange paw prints. Get a zombie kill at one of the four key gateway doorways — tracks appear in the blood. Follow the direction the toes point, walk a few meters, get another kill. Repeat until a complete circular paw print design forms on the floor.

Wait for an active lava wave to surge across the map. While lava covers the paw circle, throw the Maniki Neco decoy into the center. This summons a volcanic Abomination that eats the decoy.

Focus fire to destroy the Abomination. Defeating it lets the feline spirit escape into the map.

Advance to the next full round. The cat spawns sleeping near one of three creaky floorboards in Kitchens or Training Area. Activate Death Perception — boards glow red.

Crouch-walk the entire path to the sleeping cat. Running, sprinting, or taking any damage wakes it and it escapes. Pre-kill all zombies between you and the cat first.

Carry the cat to Shogun's Sanctum and drop it next to the World Seed. Kill nearby zombies to charge the seed until it pulses with violent red energy waves.

Between the red energy pulses, run forward and melee the seed repeatedly. This shatters the outer shell — the Noman Wonder Weapon drops to the floor. Pick it up.
!One creaky board wakes the cat immediately — it is gone for the round. Crouch the full path with zero exceptions. Clear every zombie in the area before you approach the cat.
★ The Abomination is tankier than a Mangler. Have your primary at PAP II before the lava wave step or the fight drags into a later round.
Noman Wonder Weapon equipped. Shoot all 11 lanterns in exact sequence below. Missing any shot or taking too long resets the sequence instantly — you must wait for the next round to retry. Clear zombies to one survivor before starting the loop.
!Leave exactly one zombie alive and have a teammate babysit it. Start in Training Area (lantern 1 is the longest-range shot — do it first, or your run ends before it begins).

When lantern 11 ignites, a chime plays and all lanterns remain lit. Head to the War Room — a spirit corpse of a samurai with a katana has appeared. Interact with it → brief cinematic plays → Ceramic Shards drop and the Poison Compendium is placed in the corner. Grab both.
Interact with the Ninja Kite (glider) to launch across the map. Glide past the right side of the Cherry Blossom tree and press interact to grab the Fox Mask hanging from the castle roof edge.

Take the Fox Mask to Storage Rooms and place it on the dedicated mask display wall to start the memory game.

3-stage Simon Says: Masks illuminate on the wall in order. Immediately after, zombies wearing those exact masks flood the room. Kill the masked zombies in the exact order their masks lit up. Kill out of sequence → entire stage resets.

Throw Decoy Grenades to pull the regular zombie horde away. Pick off the correctly-ordered masked targets one by one. Complete all three stages.

Fox Mask glows blue and flies to the Workshop. Three spectral masks appear floating outside map boundaries. Shoot each one to retrieve evidence:

Find water bucket (Tea Garden cupboard or Onsen Baths top floor). Fill — 3 units.
Crouch-walk to Flower Garden. Water 3 specific weed patches. Sprinting or damage spills water.
Gardener spawns. Fully immune while inspecting plants — wait for him to finish.
Shoot glowing flowers on both doorways to drop immunity. Eliminate him.

🪙 Merchant Zombie
Find Mystery Box spawn with a golden Japanese plaque at its base. Use Fire Sales to relocate if needed.
Throw Maniki Neco in front of active box → hit box → earns Coin Purse.
Apple Zombie spawns in Kitchens. Lead it to the Staging Area shack window (between Stables/Courtyard). Kill it there.
Merchant zombie spawns. Defeat him.

Equip Decoy Grenades. Go to Training Area — building opposite Melee Macchiato.
Throw Decoy Grenade through each upper-floor window — windows slide open.

Head to Training Area, back room adjacent to Melee Macchiato. Find the broken wooden door frame facing the Cherry Blossom tree. Fire a charged Noman shot at the top wooden beam to drop the Empty Pouch.

Find the Monkshood Bud in the rocks on the right side of the broken bridge in the Flower Garden. Place it in the empty plant pot near the castle entrance exfil zone.

During an active volcanic fissure event, approach a glowing lava crack and interact with it using the Empty Pouch to collect Volcanic Ash. Spread the ash onto the plant pot.

Melee the main Cherry Blossom tree in Central Courtyard 3 times to get its overheal buff. Stand by the plant pot — a wind tornado grows the bud into the harvestable Monkshood Flower.

In Storage Rooms, interact with the 3×3 wooden scroll rack. Toggling a scroll flips it AND all orthogonal neighbors. Use the interactive solver below to get your exact move sequence.

After solving the scroll rack, use a Brain Rot ammo mod weapon to grind kills near the Kitchens pestle bowl. This reveals the Pufferfish.

Place the Empty Pouch, Monkshood Flower, and Pufferfish on the Meditation Room shelves → Painting 3 reveals (figure holding a cup).
! The Brain Rot weapon must be the one landing kills near the pestle bowl. Apply the ammo mod to a secondary and grind specifically in the Kitchen area — kills elsewhere don't register.

Pick up the Ceramic Shards from the War Room floor (dropped in Phase 04) and harvest remaining shards from the canvas of Painting 3. Take both sets to the stone table in Tea Garden to repair the Sake Cup.

Wait for the current round to end. Next round, the repaired cup glows ghostly blue. Interact → short cinematic → pick up the Ghostly Sake Cup.

Head to rubble piles in Storage Rooms. Interact with the broken grandfather clock. Melee the clock face — it spins and displays a repeating sequence of four numbers. Write these down immediately or take a phone photo.

Search Staging Area for four large decorative flags/banners. Each features a distinct number of repeating geometric shapes. Count the shapes — that count is the banner's value. (e.g., 6 squares = banner value 6).

Carry and place each banner into the bamboo post beneath the correct glowing Japanese numeral. Match the clock sequence digit-by-digit to the slot order below:

Activate a Ghostly Rifleman Trap at any gateway boundary. Listen to the spectral audio — it identifies the accomplice. Match it to the table above.

Open the Poison Compendium (from War Room, Phase 04). Find the incubation time for your identified toxin. Then identify the hour of death from the Death Records (listed as a Zodiac sign).

Place the accomplice's evidence item on the central ritual cloth: Noble's Hat (Noble), Gardening Shears (Gardener), or Mercantile Abacus (Merchant). Rotate the zodiac dial to the calculated hour. Interact with both incense burners on either side of the paintings.

If all three deductions are correct, a glowing spiritual orb materializes. Get zombie kills near it as you escort it to Shogun's Sanctum — kills advance the orb.

At the Sanctum, interact with the World Seed → Onryo mini-boss spawns in Central Courtyard. Shoot the floating masks rotating around the Onryo to break its immunity shield. Destroy its health bar. A red volcanic portal opens in the Sanctum — this is the boss entrance.
! If nothing happens after the ritual, one of your three deductions is wrong. Recheck the Death Records symptom, Rifleman audio, and Compendium incubation time — all three must be correct simultaneously.
✦Highly recommended for first attempts. Upgraded Cat Grenades project an impenetrable bubble shield on detonation. One bubble = survive anything the boss throws at you. Do this before entering the volcanic portal.
U1
Activate a Ghostly Rifleman Trap. Immediately stand directly behind it and look through the small viewing hole in the back wall. Use a Combat Bow to shoot the hidden blue target out-of-bounds — this plunges you into an Aether Shroud state.
U2
While shrouded, look at the main Cherry Blossom tree trunk in Central Courtyard. Quickly shoot all glowing targets that spawn along the bark before the shroud expires.
U3
Return to the trap. Interact with the four colored Japanese masks floating in a circle — place them inside the trap statues. This permanently upgrades all Ghostly Rifleman traps to fire elemental laser ammo.

The arena is fractured rock platforms over liquid magma. Periodically Nyxara triggers a lava flood — parkour onto elevated platforms immediately. Standing on flooded ground is instant death at higher rounds.

Heavy Oni enemies spawn carrying glowing blue flags. Prioritize killing flag carriers, retrieve flags, and plant them in stone sockets around the arena. Each flag generates a large invulnerability bubble — stand inside during fire storms and lava phases.
Phase 1
The Eyes
Dragon hovers at arena edge breathing fire. Get into a flag bubble — focus all Noman WW ammo on the glowing eyes. Sustained pressure ends this phase fast.
Phase 2
Body Weak Points
Dragon flies dynamically. Target glowing orange spots along the underbelly, throat, and chest. Use Ray Gun II for bouncing AoE damage between hits.
Phase 3
The Wings
Dragon lands on main platform. Hit wing joint weak points. Deploy Upgraded Cat Grenades to manage the Armored Zombie and Oni elite spawns on the ground.
Weapon Priority
Noman WW → all weak spots (eyes, joints). Main PAP'd weapon → zombie / Oni cleanup. Never waste WW ammo on trash. Ray Gun II → AoE mob clearing.
Flag Bubble Placement
Plant flags across the arena, not all in one spot. You need 2–3 active bubbles at different positions to survive lava phases from any location.
Lava Phase
When the floor glows red, move NOW. Pre-identify your nearest elevated platform at the start of each phase. One second of hesitation is lethal.
Shields & Perks
Enter with Juggernog, Quick Revive, and full armor. Power Kegs + Reign Drops between phases. Self-revive mandatory for solo runs. Cannot restock mid-fight.
Phase 3 Oni Spawns
Throw Upgraded Cat Grenades into the Oni/Armored mob clusters while keeping fire on wing joints. The bubble gives safe DPS time on weak spots.
Dravikar's Gift
If you completed the Totenreich EE, an interactable drops at arena start. Grab it immediately — permanent health bonus or extra self-revive. Massive advantage.
